new typology: you are a point, a song is a shape
You are a point. A song is a shape. The shape is drawn by the lines between points. The points are locations on a vast and endlessly expanding grid. The essence of the shape exists in the lines between the points.
The points’ relation to each other creates the shape through the lines between them. The point thinks it is the shape, but the shape exists across points, repeated in different places, is not dependent on specific points, just that there are points for the lines to go between.
The shape can change depending on which points it is formed from, can re-form time and time again between different points, in different dimensions, in different locations. A shape is anything produced from the contact between the points.
The lines between the points give the points possibility to transcend themselves. Line is relationship, reaching towards, connection of points to each other. Sometimes lines make points believe they are the shapes themselves.
The shape exists repeatedly across time and space, and the shape depends on the relationship between the points. A shape is the essence of the lines between the points, is what happens when you connect those points.
A shape can be a song, can be life, can be love. Sometimes you, a point, think you are the shape, and you are briefly, but the shape changes, or can change. The shape you take is changeable depending on which points you’re in connection with.
The shape comes and goes, is a repetition of something endless and timeless, that has existed before and again, but newly between these particular points.
Sometimes a point becomes overly identified with the shape that it is currently in, with the lines that are currently drawn between it and other points. The point doesn’t realise that it is only the shape it currently is within the context of the lines that it has currently drawn, or been drawn into, between itself and other points.
There is no essential shape, of you or a song, but each point, which exists in relation to other points is a moon or a planet or a star. Each point finds its own relation to other points through the way it relates, and these relationships allow the points to change shape; allow the song to change shape.
The point keeps forgetting that it, and the shape, are both ephemeral.
Some points are suns, some points are planets, some points are stars, some points are moons.
Suns are gravitational centres. Ecosystems form around them, they illuminate, they create life.
A sun creates, but is not creator. A sun can forget that it, like other points, also exists in a wide universe, an endless grid. A sun, although the centre of the points that it connects, is not the whole grid itself, can move and change. A sun can violently expand, can collapse inward, travels through endless space.
A moon needs something to revolve around, a planet to orbit. But the moon does not only exist in relation to its planet. It also exists in relation to the sun, which illuminates it, reflects off of it, and which it travels around. Sun and moon exist in symbiosis, have gravitational pulls on each other, and the planets they are connected to.
Not all planets are Earth, but some planets can become Earth. If the timing and distance is just right, if the points connect in a particular way, the shape you get is life.
A planet can change, depending on time and space. And a planet can transform, depending on which lines are drawn between which points in a vast universe, making it Earth, making it something else, in some other context.
Some points are stars. Not all stars are suns. Not all stars become a gravitational centre, some travel alone, dancing through space, connecting with different points at different times, illuminating.
Some points have all these elements, and some have one, or a few. The shapes between them forming when you draw the lines depending on context, and no lines are permanent. All points can break apart, draw new lines between themselves, come in and out of existence in whatever form they are in.
No shape is final. A song is a shape.

Intelligence and humor. A very fruitful mix.
